Language and Basic Facts Exams Focused on Granting Czech Citizenship at the Faculty of Arts
Since January 2014, the Department of the Czech Language has been the only Moravian-Silesian examination centre to organize the language and basic facts exams focused on granting Czech citizenship. The exams are designed for the foreigners who need to prove their communication skills at the required B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), and their knowledge of the constitutional system of the Czech Republic, altogether with a basic insight into Czech culture, society, geography, and history. The professional guarantee for the exams for the Czech Ministry of Interior is provided by the Institution of Language and Professional Training of Charles University in Prague.
